The Guinness Open Gate Brewery seems like it’d be the favorite place to be in Chicago on St. Patricks Day. But there’s one problem. It’s a 1.5 mile walk from the downtown festivities to the Brewery...a walk that can feel much longer in the cold, March air. So let’s make sure it’s worth the trip.
If you can’t be in Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day, the next best place is Chireland.

Nature calling? Hop into one of our (clean, gorgeous, attendant-manned) portable bathrooms along the route to the Brewery.
Take the Guinness Train
Guinness will have several Barrel trains to take you to the brewery directly from the Irish Green River front. Pile in with your friends and help yourself to a pint available on the ride over.
Authentic CHIRISH Cuisine
Where Chicago culture meets Irish ingenuity. Once at the brewery, help yourself to some authentic CHIRISH eats. Guinness will serve Chicago classics, with an Irish twist. The entire menu incorporates the Irish Brewery’s famous stout.

Guiness NA Speakeasy
Speak a little easier at our Guinness 0.0 speakeasy lounge. The catch? No alcohol allowed.
Guinness 0.0 is the official NA Beer of the Premier League and now CHIRELAND. We invite you to come in and enjoy a pint as you play some Subsoccer and Foosball.
